Day 10 — Someone you don’t talk to as much as you’d like to
Dear friend;
It’s been awhile. We haven’t got our usual dose of starbucks & summer blockbusters like we did last year. &We’re already halfway into summer .. two months left ! I hope you’re enjoying, last I heard you were traveling(: I’m so jealous of you .. I really wanted to do that this summer. The valley just isn’t working for me anymore. There’s too many things here that I would like to just escape from for a bit. Where would I go ? Well, since you already covered Philippines & Korea.. I’ll go to Japan & Europe(: I can only imagine how much fun you’re having.. You’re taking advantage of every minute and doing everything you wish you could do. I want to be like that. I want to have amazing stories that leave people in wonder and awe. At least you get to do all of that(: We stopped talking for awhile but I hope you’re doing well. I know, or I’m hoping we’ll be able to catch up sometime in the future. Maybe when you’re back huh? Since I had to save the movie Up for you last year, maybe if you’re back we should watch Despicable Me ! Unfortunately, I don’t have too many stories for you this time around .. but hmm there’s still a good remainder of summer left, so I guess we’ll see(: Let’s hope I have something just as exciting to tell you once you take the chance to tell me about your summer travels. Day 11 — A Deceased person you wish you could talk to
Dear Tita;
It’s been .. 3 years.. it still feels like you’re around though. Did you know you’re piano is here? I love playing with it & when Kuya comes over, I love hearing him play the old pieces you taught him a long time ago. I haven’t taken the time to tell you how much I miss you and what’s new with me and the family for awhile .. I’m sorry. Mine & Rianna’s birthday just passed. I’m 20 and she’s 7 years old ! Could you believe that? Time has gone by too quickly. I’m heading into my 3rd year of college, I’ve already had a job once, and I haven’t been arguing with my parents for quite awhile(: I know you’d be proud of that.. haha ! Did you know Kuya and I managed to see each other more this year? It’s been great! He had dinner with us once & hung out here a couple times. He even watched superbowl with daddy ! Kuya and I are learning to save more time for the family these days .. Oh man Tita, you would be so proud of him now(: &Tito ! He keeps in touch with us as much as he can. My parents always tell me that he’s doing well(: I miss us all being together. Remember when we would have some of our talks during family get togethers ? Yeah .. I liked those. I’m still following in your footsteps though, when it comes to school & career-wise. I’m a child development major now(: We didn’t get to visit you back in May, but I hope to make a visit before school starts again.. with beautiful flowers. Thank you for being our guardian angel, we all know that you’re still looking out for us. I love you, Tita. I hope that when you hear us playing the piano, it still manages to bring a smile to your face.. Daddy’s really happy to take care of it<3

[06272010] Aw babygirl, you turned 7 years old yesterday and you were wearing an adorable pink princess gown. I liked how your mom played your favorite soundtrack of Glee in the background & got you a photobooth so you can run around a take a billion pictures with your friends(: Thank you for taking the time to give me a big hug, kiss me on the cheek and say, “Hi Tita Julienne ! Thank you for coming !” You are seriously growing up so fast & I cannot dream of what it may have been like if I wasn’t there to witness how much of a beautiful and talented young girl you’re becoming. Today was so much fun & I can’t stop looking at the photobooth pictures we took earlier. You and your little cousins made me so tired ‘cause I had the hardest time trying to get all three of you at the same time to take our picture! So much running around.. it was worth it though .. Our photo is one of my favorites<3 I’m sorry I couldn’t get you a much better present but I hope with the money my family & I gave you, you can buy some more cute toys or clothes, or save it & get something BIG ! :D Haha ! You looked so tired by the end of the party and I’m hoping you’re sleeping and resting well ! Btw, Uncle Angelo wishes you the best as well but unfortunately he couldn’t make it today .. He’ll make it up to us(; Since he missed our birthday week haha ! He missed us though(: Alright. I hope your heart wished for wonderful things when you blew out those candles ! So .. heh our story is fun(: I remember crushing on your for two or three months back in ‘08. You were different than most guys & the way I met you was by being partners with you for our friend’s debut once upon a time. I’m sure you’re laughing as you read this right now .. but deng, we have really come a long way since being debut partners huh ? &You were a great prom date, f’real(: Anyway, you were a fun crush ! I was so happy when you got texting on your phone plan .. HAHA ‘cause it was way easier talking to you &being in the same school as you just made our friendship even more convenient. Though you’re not my crush anymore.. you’re 10x better at being my best friend(: We have the best adventures everywhere we go, we have great talks about everything, and you hold so much of my trust. Thank you for never changing. I know that within the past two years of being close friends.. we changed each other in some ways but I’m glad that you’ve become one of the reasons why I am becoming who I am now. Sorry for always making fun of you when you fob out, &sorry for always making you laugh till you can’t breathe .. Unfortunately.. my best girl friends & I couldn’t bust a mission to LA last thursday when you were in town. We really wanted to visit so we could meet you but it killed us that none of us had time! We heard you really dressed up & enjoyed the movie you caught the night you came(: I guess we’re just gonna have to wait till June 30th. Last time we saw you was during spring break when we saw you while watching Remember Me. Btw .. that movie is out now, I should really get it. HAHA. Maybe you can sign it when my best friend & I finally meet you one day ?(; It sucks that I’m really not the only person who wants to meet you but whatever. HA. My guy friends make fun of me for liking you as an actor but they’re just haters. Seriously, I bet a lot of guys are hating on you but you’re just making millions right now &they’re making squat .. wahahah ! But .. yeah, one day maybe we’ll cross paths or my best friend can cross paths with you first ‘cause her life status right now is all about taking adventures in LA. If she sees you without me .. My thoughts are mine but as soon as I tell you, they become concrete thoughts that I can't take back.
No one ever speaks out all of their thoughts. &I was one of those people till Friday night. Though it’s safe to tell troubling thoughts to keep them from bottling up, it isn’t good when they become words being said through another’s mouth that is not your own. I’ve had a few things floating my mind for awhile .. things that I forced to keep to myself for strong personal reasons. Due to some certain circumstances .. I ended up telling two of my best friends. Don’t get me wrong, if it had to be anyone I’m glad it was these two but I didn’t realize how scared I was till right now.. thinking about when that time comes for me to own up to my words or in this case confessions. I just wish that I was more careful when it comes to speaking out certain things, just because the idea of my thoughts becoming another’s curiosity is a fearful one.

Birthday weekend is over and this one is for the books. Surprises, successful planning, and Good Company. So much has been going on and I’ve only been able to blog about them through photos— at least photos from the first few days of the week. From getting my nails done to having a one on one lunch with my mom, having a surprise visit/ice cream cake from twin&elaine to having a nice sit-down dinner w/ my parents, and finally being taken to GetShaved w/ my BKD loves— &This was on thursday(; I always thought personal birthdays were the best ones to remember. They never had to be big, they never had to be overdone. It was always about taking the day to spend the time with those who took their time to be with you. Thing was my birthday dragged onto the following Friday &Let me just say .. It was an intense day in general. All the seafood munching from Boiling Crab, taking a look into BKD’s future through pictures, being overloaded with the best company, making yummy jello shots and having drinks to cheer on another year &more to come for both me and kuyaJAE<3
—It’s been an amazing past two days with a day to recover(; When I finally saw the pictures from Friday night.. they were nice to look back on rather than giving me those kind of reactions like, “Oh god… Sh/t what the hell happened that night ?!” HAHA. &Thankfully, I actually do remember the night. Thank you to all the greetings, phone calls, text messages, and for those who took the time to spend it with me. Time for another kickback, meng. F’reaaaal(: &Maybe we’ll cut back on those jello shots ..
